If you would just like to chat on the phone for some initial advice, I am happy to do this free of charge. I believe that the choices you make should feel right for you, so call me and get a sense of whether I am the right person to help you in the way you need. I can also point you in another direction, or support you in navigating on your own
Meeting to discuss any aspect of end-of life or funerals
My basic rate for one-to-one work is £35 per hour. I'm also happy to work with small groups.
Ceremonies
Fees vary dependent on length of service/content/requirements but will always be discussed and agreed with you before any commitments are made. My fees include support leading up to the ceremony, all aspects of the script writing, meetings, phone calls and working with the other parties involved. I can print copies of the script for you to keep if you wish, and/or send a copy electronically. All scripts are personal and unique, no templates are used. Each family I work with gets the very best of me. If you look on the funeral directors price list, the fee for the celebrant is usually listed as an item under 'disbursements' and is personal to each celebrant. I can invoice you directly, or I can be paid via the funeral director.
Basic rate = £35 per hour
Basic fee for a simple ceremony i.e. a single slot at any crematorium or burial ground, within a 30 mile radius of Thame OX9, which includes one family meeting is from £300. My final fee will always be discussed openly with you before the day of the ceremony
Double slot at any crematorium within a 30 mile radius of Thame OX9 is from £385
Simple scattering of ashes is from £150
Script writing service only is from £150
Travel - standard charge of 45p per mile will be applied to all service locations over 30 miles away
If you have a pre-paid funeral plan, you can still chose your celebrant! Some, if not all, of the fees may be included. Please be sure you check with the funeral company in charge of the plan.
